This role offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience across various construction-related tasks while supporting ongoing projects. As a Seasonal Assistant , you will contribute to the successful completion of diverse projects by assisting skilled tradespeople and ensuring work progresses smoothly. This position is perfect for individuals eager to develop their skills in construction, carpentry, restoration, and related fields, all while working in a fast-paced environment that values energy, initiative, and teamwork. Responsibilities Support construction crews with general labor tasks including heavy lifting, material handling, and site cleanup Assist with framing, trim carpentry, drywall installation, and fixture mounting under supervision Operate hand tools, power tools, and CNC machinery safely and effectively to aid in fabrication and assembly tasks Read blueprints, schematics, and construction drawings to understand project specifications and assist with installation processes such as siding, roofing, or door hanging Participate in concrete forming, masonry work, rebar installation, and water damage restoration projects as needed Help with plumbing, electrical work, plastering, caulking, stucco and flooring or tile installation under guidance Qualifications Prior experience or familiarity with construction site activities is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools Ability to perform heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks throughout the workday Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions from schematics or blueprints accurately Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward learning new skills in carpentry, masonry, roofing or other trades Prior handyman experience or exposure to remodeling projects is a plus Valid driver's license may be required depending on project needs This role provides valuable exposure to various facets of the construction industry while fostering your development in skilled trades.
