As our Columbus, OH branch continues to grow, we are hiring a skilled Reconstruction Carpenter to complete repair and rebuild work on residential and commercial restoration projects. What you'll do Install, repair, and rebuild structural and finish carpentry components, including walls, floors, ceilings, frames, trim, cabinets, and related fixtures. Remove damaged or defective materials and complete high-quality repairs that restore properties to pre-loss condition. Inspect ceiling tile, floor tile, wall coverings, siding, glass, woodwork, and other building components to identify damaged structures and repair needs. Read scopes of work, take accurate measurements, plan layouts, and select appropriate materials for each job. Work directly with Project Managers and Estimators to complete assigned work within scope, budget, quality, and timeline expectations. Use hand tools, power tools, and jobsite equipment safely while keeping work areas clean and organized. Communicate professionally with customers, team members, subcontractors, and branch leadership. What we're looking for: 2-4 years of carpentry, reconstruction, restoration, remodeling, or related construction experience. High school diploma or GED preferred. Strong knowledge of rough and finish carpentry, common building materials, measurements, layouts, and jobsite safety practices. Ability to work independently or as part of a crew, depending on project size and scope. Comfortable working in occupied homes, commercial properties, and active restoration environments. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Valid driver's license and ability to pass a background check, driving record review, and drug screen. Ability to provide the tools needed to perform the essential functions of the job.
