Job Description
Residential Remodeling Carpenter Position Summary We are looking for a dependable and experienced Carpente r to join our residential remodeling team. Our projects include kitchens, bathrooms, basements, additions, and other home renovations. The ideal candidate has experience with both rough and finish carpentry, takes pride in quality workmanship, and understands the importance of maintaining a clean and professional jobsite while working in our clients' homes. Responsibilities
- Perform rough and finish carpentry for residential remodeling projects.
- Complete framing, blocking, soffits, and other structural carpentry.
- Install doors, windows, trim, baseboards, casing, cabinets, and other finish materials.
- Assist with demolition and jobsite preparation as needed.
- Read and follow plans, drawings, measurements, and project scopes.
- Identify and communicate jobsite issues or unexpected conditions.
- Work effectively with project managers, other carpenters, and trade partners.
- Protect the homeowner's property and maintain a clean, organized jobsite.
- Follow company safety and quality standards.
- Complete assigned work efficiently and according to the project schedule. Qualifications
- Carpentry experience required; residential remodeling experience preferred.
- Experience with rough and finish carpentry.
- Knowledge of residential construction methods and materials.
- Ability to use standard carpentry hand and power tools.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently.
- Professional and respectful when working in clients' homes.
