Job Description

Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Carpenter/Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of carpentry and labor tasks on residential and commercial projects. Your expertise will help ensure that projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest quality standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse construction sites, utilizing your carpentry skills and hands-on labor experience to contribute to successful building and remodeling projects. Responsibilities Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately execute project specifications. Operate hand tools, power tools for woodworking, and woodworking machines safely and effectively to cut, shape, and assemble materials. Perform framing, drywall installation, drywall finishing, siding, kitchen remodels, bathroom remodels. and trim carpentry work with precision. Conduct heavy lifting of construction materials such as wood construction materials, drywall sheets, and other supplies while maintaining safety protocols. Support restoration projects by performing demo, rebuilding, caulking, siding repairs, and general remodeling tasks. Follow construction site safety procedures including power tool safety practices to ensure a secure work environment at all times. Skills Strong knowledge of remodeling/ new construction and interpreting technical drawings. Proficiency in using hand tools and power tools for woodworking and framing, and general construction Experience with residential carpentry, trim carpentry, drywall installation, and siding work. Familiarity with heavy lifting techniques and proper material handling procedures. Construction site experience with a focus on safety standards and best practices. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to adapt quickly to changing project needs. Knowledge of restoration industry practices including mold remediation and fixture installation is a plus. Pay:
$20.00 - $32.00 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 - 50.0 per week
