Monday-Friday, 9:00 AM-5:00 PM About the Role Ohio Deck Builders is looking for an experienced Master Carpenter to join our team serving homeowners throughout Central Ohio. We're looking for someone who takes pride in their craftsmanship, works efficiently, and can confidently handle residential carpentry and deck construction. The right candidate should be comfortable working independently as well as alongside a crew while maintaining our standards for quality, safety, and professionalism. Responsibilities Build, install, repair, and renovate residential decks and outdoor structures Perform framing, decking, railing, stairs, and other finish carpentry Read project plans, measurements, and job specifications Accurately measure, cut, assemble, and install materials Maintain high standards for workmanship and jobsite safety Keep jobsites clean and organized Properly use and maintain carpentry tools and equipment Communicate with the project team regarding job progress, materials, or potential issues Complete assigned work efficiently while maintaining quality standards Qualifications Minimum 2 years of carpentry experience Strong knowledge of residential carpentry and construction methods Deck-building experience strongly preferred Ability to perform accurate measurements, cuts, framing, and installations Basic carpentry tools required Truck or reliable work vehicle preferred Dependable transportation to jobs throughout Central Ohio Ability to perform the physical requirements associated with residential construction Reliable, professional, and detail-oriented W-9 required Compensation This is a 100% production-based position with earning potential of approximately $60,000-$100,000 per year , depending on productivity, experience, and completed work.
