Job Description

NW Industrial Staffing is currently seeking skilled carpenters for one of the Willamette Valley's Premier commercial and multi-family housing construction companies. Qualified applicants will work with a stellar team of construction professionals who conduct business with integrity, quality, and value, while maintaining traditions for three generations. This is an evaluation for a hiring opportunity.
What we are seeking:
3+ years of experience with framing, trim, and finish carpentry. Measure, cut, and assemble wood, boards, trim, doors, and windows according to instructions. Ability to read blueprints to ensure the quality of all structural, electrical, plumbing, and design elements. Proficient in using saws, drills, hammers, and other hand and power tools to complete daily goals and assignments. Previous experience installing construction components, including windows, doors, cabinets, electrical fixtures, stairs, and moldings. Demonstrate a solid understanding of Building codes and safety standards while meeting the expectations of project managers and owners. Ability to lift 50lbs on a semi-consistent basis to maneuver construction materials into place. Can stand, stoop, bend, push, and pull for an 8-hour shift. A team player who can work independently when needed to ensure a quality product. Must have a set of your own tools. Strong work ethic, attendance, and punctuality.
