Job Description

Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Experienced Carpenter specializing in remodeling projects to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for transforming residential spaces through precise craftsmanship, innovative solutions, and efficient project execution. Your expertise will help clients realize their vision for beautiful, functional living environments. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse remodeling projects, utilizing your extensive carpentry skills to deliver exceptional results that exceed expectations. Duties Interpret construction plans, technical drawings, and blueprints to accurately execute remodeling tasks. Measure, cut, assemble, and install a variety of wood and other construction materials using hand tools and power tools designed for woodworking. Perform framing, trim carpentry, drywall installation, caulking and fixture installation with precision. masonry work as needed for comprehensive remodeling solutions. Operate woodworking machines safely and efficiently while adhering to power tool safety standards. Fabricate custom components and perform heavy lifting to ensure structural integrity and aesthetic quality. Collaborate with project managers and other tradespeople to interpret construction plans and ensure timely completion of projects on site. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by following safety protocols related to power tools, heavy lifting, and construction site procedures. Siding installation and repair Window and exterior/interior door installation Interior and exterior painting Tile installation LVP, laminate, hardwood, and other flooring Finish and trim carpentry Framing and general carpentry Decking and exterior improvements Demolition and remodeling General punch-list and repair work Experience Proven experience in residential carpentry and remodeling projects with a strong portfolio demonstrating craftsmanship in framing, trim carpentry, and fixture installation. Extensive knowledge of construction estimating, reading blueprints, technical drawings, and interpreting construction plans accurately. Hands-on experience with woodworking tools, power tools for woodworking, etc Familiarity with the use of wood construction materials such as studs, panels, molding, stucco finishes, drywall components, and water damage restoration techniques. Prior involvement in restoration projects within the restoration industry or related fields such as mold remediation or water damage repair is highly desirable. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining high standards of craftsmanship during fabrication or assembly tasks. Strong understanding of construction site safety protocols including power tool safety practices and proper handling of heavy equipment. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret technical drawings and adapt to unforeseen challenges on-site. Pay:
$37.67 - $45.37 per hour Expected hours: 40.0 per week
