A Note From Chris Hi there, I'm Chris Hamlin, the President of Highland Ridge Remodeling. I've been framing and remodeling homes for more than 35 years, and I've learned that this business really comes down to two things: the quality of the work and the quality of the people doing it. We care about both. This Lead Carpenter role is a hands-on field position. You'll work closely with a Project Manager and may work independently or have a carpenter or laborer working alongside you. We're looking for someone we can trust to take ownership of the work, solve problems, communicate well, and set a good example for the people around them. Our clients are trusting us with their homes, their money, and sometimes a project they've dreamed about for years. We want someone who understands that. Someone who notices the details. Someone who keeps a clean jobsite. Someone who can work on their own when needed, but who can also help anothers get better. Take care, Chris Hamlin What You'll Do Perform high end, hands-on carpentry on residential remodels and additions Work closely with the Project Manager to execute the project plan Work independently or lead a carpenter/laborer when assigned Perform framing, demolition, trim, finish carpentry, and general remodeling Read plans, engineering, and project documents Help solve unexpected problems and field conditions Communicate progress, material needs, and concerns to the Project Manager Maintain high standards for craftsmanship, safety, cleanliness, and organization Help create a great experience for the homeowner What We're Looking For 5+ years of residential carpentry/remodeling experience Proven framing and finish carpentry skills Experience with kitchens, bathrooms, additions Ability to read plans and construction documents Good problem-solving and communication skills Experience leading, teaching, or mentoring others is a plus Valid driver's license What We Offer Competitive, top-of-market pay Medical, dental, and vision allowance 401(k) with company match Paid vacation, sick time and holidays Paid training and continuing education Company vehicle or mileage reimbursement Consistent full-time work Opportunities to grow We're trying to build a place where you can do work you're proud of, be respected for your experience, and enjoy the people you work with.
