In this role, you will be responsible for constructing the framework of SIP (Structural Insulated Panels) buildings and structures, ensuring precision, safety, and quality at every step. Your expertise in framing, concrete forming, and related carpentry skills will contribute to the successful completion of diverse construction projects. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on challenging projects that require technical proficiency, physical endurance, and a keen eye for detail. Responsibilities Read and interpret construction plans, schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately execute framing and structural components. Execute drywall installation, plastering, stucco application, siding, roofing, and trim carpentry to complete interior and exterior finishes. Operate power tools and heavy equipment safely to cut, shape, assemble, and install framing materials. Perform masonry tasks such as laying bricks or blocks as required for structural support or aesthetic purposes. Measure dimensional details precisely using tape measures and other hand tools; verify accuracy with basic math skills. Interpret construction plans and schematics accurately to ensure all work aligns with project specifications. Conduct heavy lifting safely while managing multiple tasks on busy construction sites; adhere strictly to safety protocols. Collaborate with construction management teams to coordinate project timelines, materials delivery, and site logistics. Qualifications Proven experience in framing carpentry with a background in framing, concrete forming, drywall installation, roofing, siding, and remodeling projects. Skilled in interpreting technical drawings, schematics, blueprints, and construction plans. Proficient in using hand tools such as tape measures and power tools; capable of performing dimensional measurements accurately. Ability to operate heavy equipment safely when necessary; familiarity with construction site safety standards is essential. Strong physical stamina for heavy lifting and working at heights or in confined spaces; capable of working outdoors in various weather conditions. Basic math skills for measurements and calculations essential for precise framing work. Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to follow detailed instructions from project managers or supervisors. Must be willing to travel (projects throughout Oregon and Washington).
