Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled Carpenter/Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. Responsibilities Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately execute project specifications. Operate hand tools, power tools for woodworking, framing, siding, trim carpentry, door hanging, fixture installation, and other carpentry tasks. Use woodworking machines safely and effectively to cut, shape, and assemble wood construction materials. Perform heavy lifting and physical tasks required for rebar installation, plastering, stucco application, water damage restoration, mold remediation, and flooring installation. Install siding, doors, windows, moldings, fixtures, and other building components following safety protocols. Assist with framing using metal studs or wood framing techniques in accordance with construction plans. Maintain a clean work environment by organizing tools and materials while adhering to power tool safety standards. Support restoration projects by performing caulking, rebar installation, water damage repair, plastering, stucco work, and other specialized tasks as needed. Collaborate with team members to ensure project milestones are met efficiently while maintaining high-quality workmanship. Experience Proven construction experience with a focus on residential carpentry or general building projects. Familiarity with blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings is essential. Skilled in using hand tools such as saws, hammers, chisels as well as power tools for woodworking and framing. Experience working on construction sites with knowledge of safety procedures related to power tool operation and heavy lifting. Background in remodeling or restoration industry work is highly desirable. Knowledge of water damage restoration or mold remediation processes is a plus. Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting heavy materials comfortably while maintaining safety standards.
