Job Description
Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and versatile Resident specializing in Kitchens & Bathrooms, Electrical, Plumbing, and Decks to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be an integral part of remodeling and restoration projects, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and attention to detail across various residential renovation tasks. Your expertise will help transform spaces, improve functionality, and enhance the overall living experience for our clients. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects while honing your skills in construction and carpentry. Duties Perform comprehensive remodeling tasks including kitchen and bathroom upgrades, fixture installation, and custom cabinetry. Execute electrical installations, repairs, and troubleshooting in accordance with safety standards and schematics. Conduct plumbing work such as pipe fitting, fixture replacement, water damage restoration, and leak repairs. Build and install decks, siding, stucco, and other exterior features using appropriate construction techniques. Utilize hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery, and fabrication equipment to complete projects efficiently. Read blueprints and schematics to accurately interpret project specifications and ensure precise execution. Engage in heavy lifting, framing, metal stud framing, masonry, tile laying, flooring installation, and drywall finishing as needed. Assist with water damage restoration efforts, mold remediation, and general handyman tasks to support project completion. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols during all phases of construction. Collaborate with team members to ensure timely project delivery while upholding quality standards. Requirements Proven experience in construction estimating, carpentry (trim, frame), roofing, masonry, or remodeling projects. Strong knowledge of electrical systems and plumbing installation/repair techniques. Skilled in using hand tools, power tools, CNC machinery, scaffolding, and other construction equipment. Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings accurately. Experience with concrete forming, plastering, rebar installation, siding installation, and fixture mounting preferred. Familiarity with water damage restoration processes and mold remediation is a plus. Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and work at heights or in confined spaces safely. Excellent problem-solving skills with a keen eye for detail in fabrication and finishing work. Prior experience working on construction sites or within the restoration industry is highly desirable.
