Can you build a deck from start to finish? Pocono Exteriors is looking for an experienced carpenter who understands the entire deck-building process , not just pieces of it. We want someone who can look at a set of plans, understand what needs to happen, and get to work without needing constant direction.

You should be confident with:

Deck layout and measurements Footings and post placement Beams and structural framing Joists, blocking and hardware Composite and wood decking Stairs and stringers Railings Reading plans and understanding building details Identifying problems and figuring out solutions on site Working independently while also being part of a team This is not an entry-level position. We're looking for someone who can honestly say, "Yes, I know how to build a deck." About Pocono Exteriors Pocono Exteriors designs and builds outdoor living spaces throughout the Poconos, including decks, patios, pergolas, hot tubs and other exterior projects. We're a small, growing company and want people who take pride in their work but also enjoy coming to work.
