Job Summary Join our team as an Apprentice Carpenter / Laborer, where you will gain hands-on experience in a variety of carpentry and construction projects. Whether assisting with framing, trim carpentry, or site preparation, you'll play an integral part in delivering quality craftsmanship on diverse projects. Duties Assist skilled carpenters with framing, trim carpentry, door hanging, cabinet installation, drywall, ceilings, wall protection installation, and fixture setup to ensure efficient project progress Operate hand tools and power tools safely to perform tasks such as cutting, sanding, drilling, and assembling materials Support the installation of flooring, ceilings, finish packages, and other exterior or interior finishes Prepare construction sites by cleaning debris, job site set up, and organizing materials for smooth workflow Learn to read blueprints and schematics to understand project specifications and assist with layout marking and measurements Perform heavy lifting of materials such as lumber, drywall, and other building components while adhering to safety standards Skills Interest in learning about the construction industry Knowledge of hand tools (hammers, saws, chisels) and power tools (drills, saws) used in construction environments Familiarity with construction site safety protocols and ability to follow safety guidelines at all times Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently during material handling tasks This role is perfect for motivated individuals eager to build a career in construction.
