In this role, you will be responsible for executing a variety of carpentry and construction tasks, ensuring projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to the highest standards. Your expertise will contribute to residential remodeling, restoration projects, and custom woodworking tasks. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects that require precision, craftsmanship, and a proactive approach. The ideal candidate is energetic, detail-oriented, and passionate about delivering quality results in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities Interpret construction plans and technical drawings to accurately execute carpentry tasks. Measure, cut, assemble, and install wood and other construction materials using hand tools and power tools for woodworking. Perform framing, siding, door hanging, trim carpentry, and metal stud framing with precision. Operate woodworking machines safely to produce high-quality components for various projects. Execute construction industry tasks such as releveling mobile homes, building decks, installing skirting, trim, fascia gutters, and waterproofing. Install fixtures, flooring, siding, caulking, and other finishing elements according to project specifications, operating a metal break is a plus but not required. Conduct heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks while maintaining safety protocols for power tool safety and overall site safety. Read blueprints and construction plans to ensure accurate implementation of design specifications. Assist with remodeling projects by handling drywall installation, flooring work, and fixture placement. Support site cleanup and organization to maintain a safe and efficient work environment. Experience Proven experience in residential carpentry or general construction work with a focus on woodworking or remodeling projects. Demonstrated ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings accurately. Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools for woodworking, woodworking machines, and heavy lifting techniques. Knowledge of construction site safety procedures including power tool safety practices. Familiarity with various wood construction materials such as siding, trim, drywall, flooring materials, and metal studs. Experience in restoration or remediation industries such as water damage restoration or mold remediation is a plus. Strong background in framing (including metal stud framing), fixture installation (doors, windows), plastering/stucco application, caulking/sealing techniques, and rebar installation. Ability to work efficiently on multiple projects while adhering to safety standards and quality expectations.
