Job Title:
Carpenter Job Description We are seeking skilled carpenters to provide operational support in reconstruction efforts for our customers. This role involves a variety of tasks including light framing, trim work, drywall hanging and finishing, hanging cabinets, and painting. Candidates should be open to receiving instructions and feedback, and able to adapt to the demands of a dynamic schedule. Responsibilities Perform light framing and trim work. Hang and finish drywall. Install cabinets and execute painting tasks. Respond to emergency projects as required, being on-call once every five weeks. Adapt to a demanding and reactive work schedule with standard hours from 7:00 AM to 4:30 PM. Essential Skills 3+ years of carpentry experience in residential, commercial construction, or restoration. Proficiency in framing, drywall installation, finish carpentry, and general construction. Ability to accurately read tape measures and perform construction calculations. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and carpentry equipment. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Capability to lift 50+ pounds and work in physically demanding environments. Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and emergency response situations when required. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in disaster restoration or insurance reconstruction is preferred. Experience working in occupied residential environments is an advantage. OSHA 10 certification is beneficial. Experience with mold, fire, or water damage reconstruction is preferred. Knowledge of building codes and restoration industry standards is a plus. Why Work Here? Work Environment Work will take place at various project sites being restored, and at the facility in Exton, PA. Employees will travel in company-provided vehicles and must be accessible for emergency responses. The work environment is physically demanding and requires adaptability to different conditions and schedules. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Exton, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $28.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
