Job Description
Lead Carpenter - Residential & Commercial Remodeling We are looking for a skilled and dependable Lead Carpenter to oversee and perform all aspects of residential and commercial remodeling projects. The ideal candidate is a motivated leader with strong carpentry skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. Must be able to work solo and/or with laborers. Responsibilities Lead remodeling projects from start to finish. Supervise and work alongside crew members and subcontractors. Perform all phases of carpentry, including framing, trim, cabinetry, doors, windows, drywall, and finish work. Plumbing and electrical experience a plus. Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and project specifications. Ensure projects are completed safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards. Communicate effectively with homeowners, commercial clients, and project managers. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe job site. Train and mentor less experienced carpenters. Qualifications 5+ years of residential and/or commercial carpentry experience. Previous leadership or foreman experience preferred. Strong knowledge of remodeling practices and building codes. Ability to work independently and lead a team. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Ability to lift 50+ pounds and perform physically demanding work. Own basic hand tools (preferred).
