Lead Carpenter - Equitable Builds, LLC Full Time | Residential Construction | Central PA Equitable Builds is growing and we are looking for a skilled Lead Carpenter to join our team. Our company specializes in high quality residential renovations and construction, including kitchens, bathrooms, additions, basements, exterior siding, and full home remodels. We take pride in craftsmanship, efficiency, and delivering excellent results for our clients. This role is for someone who knows carpentry well and can lead a job site, keep projects organized, and help guide other crew members to complete tasks the right way. Responsibilities Lead day-to-day work on residential renovation projects Coordinate and guide carpenters and helpers on site Ensure projects stay on schedule and meet quality standards Communicate clearly with the project manager regarding progress, materials, and job site needs Read and follow plans, layouts, and project specifications Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site Identify issues early and help find solutions to keep projects moving forward Carpentry Skills Required We are looking for someone who is well rounded and experienced in multiple trades, including: Framing Trim carpentry and finish work Cabinet installation Flooring installation (LVP, hardwood, tile prep) Siding installation Window and door installation Decks and exterior carpentry General remodeling tasks for kitchens, bathrooms, basements, and additions Leadership Expectations Ability to lead a small crew and delegate tasks effectively Strong attention to detail and pride in workmanship Ability to troubleshoot problems and keep projects moving forward Reliable, punctual, and professional with clients and team members Requirements 5+ years carpentry or remodeling experience preferred Experience leading or managing job sites Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Own basic carpentry tools Ability to lift materials and work in a physically active environment What We Offer Competitive pay based on experience Consistent year-round work Opportunities to grow within the company A team that values craftsmanship, efficiency, and pride in the work we do If you are a skilled carpenter who takes pride in your work and can lead others to produce high quality results, we would love to talk with you.
