+ Design is seeking a seasoned Lead Carpenter to become part of our residential remodeling division. This leadership role involves overseeing carpentry work, guiding a team, and ensuring projects are delivered at the highest quality. Responsibilities Lead and manage remodeling and carpentry operations to ensure on-time, within-budget project completion. Conduct quality checks, resolve issues quickly, and maintain exceptional standards. Communicate effectively with clients, addressing questions and ensuring satisfaction. Run daily team huddles, mentor new team members on tools and safety, and maintain a positive jobsite culture. Keep project logs and time tracking systems updated using platforms like Job Tread, Buildertrend, and BusyBusy. Follow safety procedures, maintain company tools, and ensure all sites are clean and organized. Qualifications Proven track record as a Lead Carpenter or equivalent position in residential remodeling. Skilled in blueprint reading, carpentry tools, and managing projects from layout to finish. (Including framing, exteriors, windows, doors, kitchens, bathrooms, cabinetry, and trim work.) Strong leadership and communication abilities for coordinating teams, subcontractors, and clients. Physically capable of demanding tasks such as lifting, climbing, and working at heights. Must have reliable transportation, basic carpenter tools, and a tool belt; trailer-pulling ability is a bonus. Reliable, punctual, and dedicated to producing high-quality work.
