Overview:

Kautz Construction is looking for an experienced Commercial Carpenter to join our restaurant construction and remodeling division. Kautz Construction is an established construction company serving commercial customers throughout Central Pennsylvania. Our restaurant division performs renovations, repairs, maintenance, and construction projects with an emphasis on quality workmanship, responsiveness, and long-term customer relationships. NIGHT SHIFT

position . Most work is performed while restaurants are closed. We are looking for a well-rounded, dependable carpenter/remodeler who is comfortable performing a variety of commercial construction, repair, and finish work.

Responsibilities:

The ideal candidate should have experience with several of the following: Installing FRP (Fiberglass Reinforced Plastic) wall panels Installing stainless steel wall panels in commercial kitchens Tile installation, repair, and grout work Installing and repairing drop ceiling grid and ceiling tile Door and frame installation, including hardware Drywall installation, finishing, patching, and repair Interior painting and finishing General carpentry, framing, blocking, trim, and repair work Demolition and preparation for renovation projects Accurately measuring and laying out work Maintaining a clean and safe jobsite Completing work within scheduled overnight shutdown periods so restaurants can reopen for business

Requirements:

Valid driver's license or dependable transportation Agree to a background check as well as random drug screening Night work is required and some jobs require staying out of town.

$28.00 - $35.00 per hour
