Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and motivated Carpenter to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for constructing, installing, repairing, and maintaining structures and fixtures using a variety of hand and power tools. Your expertise will contribute to building high-quality projects, from residential remodels to commercial metal building erections. Duties Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and construction plans to ensure precise execution of projects. Measure, cut, assemble, and install wood, metal, drywall, stucco, siding, and other materials with accuracy using hand tools and power tools. Erect metal buildings and frameworks, including metal stud framing and rebar installation for concrete structures. Perform concrete forming, finishing, and rebar placement to create durable foundations and structures. Execute masonry work such as bricklaying or stone setting as required for restoration or remodeling projects. Operate heavy equipment safely for tasks like lifting heavy materials or preparing sites for construction activities. Ensure all work complies with safety standards, building codes, and project specifications while maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Requirements Proven experience in construction site work with a strong background in carpentry, framing, drywall installation, roofing, or related trades. Proficiency in reading blueprints and interpreting technical drawings accurately. Skilled in the use of hand tools (e.g., saws, hammers), power tools (e.g., drills, saws), tape measures, and other construction equipment. Knowledge of metal building erection, concrete forming, masonry techniques, welding processes, siding installation, plastering, stucco application, roofing systems, and woodworking. Ability to perform dimensional measurements precisely and handle heavy lifting safely. Basic math skills necessary for measurements and calculations related to construction plans. Experience working with construction plans involving metal stud framing or remodeling projects is preferred. Strong understanding of safety procedures on construction sites along with the ability to operate heavy equipment when needed. Excellent problem-solving skills with attention to detail; ability to work independently or as part of a team in fast-paced environments.
