In this role, you will be responsible for constructing the framework of buildings and structures, ensuring precision and safety throughout every phase of the project. Your expertise will help bring architectural visions to life, from initial measurements to final assembly, contributing to high-quality, durable structures. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects, including metal building erection, remodeling, and restoration, utilizing your carpentry skills to deliver exceptional results. Duties Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately execute framing projects. Erect metal buildings and install metal studs with precision and efficiency. Build and install wall frames, roof trusses, and flooring systems using hand tools and power tools. Perform concrete forming and rebar installation to support structural integrity. Conduct drywall installation, plastering, siding application, and stucco work for finishing touches. Operate heavy equipment safely for framing tasks and material handling on construction sites. Measure dimensional specifications accurately using tape measures and other tools; perform trimming and carpentry adjustments as needed. Collaborate with construction management teams to ensure adherence to safety protocols, building codes, and project timelines. Assist with roofing installation, masonry work, and siding projects to enhance building durability. Support remodeling and restoration efforts by removing old materials and preparing surfaces for new finishes. Experience Proven experience in framing carpentry within commercial or residential construction environments. Strong knowledge of metal building erection, drywall installation, roofing, masonry, and siding techniques. Skilled in interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and construction plans with attention to detail. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, heavy equipment operation, and safety procedures on construction sites. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining accuracy in measurements and assembly. Basic math skills for measurements, calculations, and material estimations essential for precise framing work. Experience with rebar installation, concrete forming, plastering, stucco application, and woodworking is highly desirable. Knowledge of construction management principles and ability to work effectively within a team environment is a plus.
