Job Description
We are a growing restoration and construction company specializing in property damage repair, remodeling, and custom projects. We pride ourselves on quality craftsmanship, reliability, and teamwork. Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Carpenter with hands-on experience across multiple areas of carpentry. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, dependable, and able to take a project from start to finish with minimal supervision. Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and technical plans Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join wood and other materials Install and repair doors, windows, cabinets, trim, and molding Frame walls, floors, ceilings, and roofs Construct and install staircases, decks, porches, and railings Perform drywall hanging, finishing, and repairs Handle cabinetry, shelving, and custom woodwork Repair and replace damaged wood structures from water, fire, or storm damage Operate and maintain power tools, hand tools, and woodworking machinery Ensure all work meets building codes, safety regulations, and company standards Collaborate with project managers, clients, and team members Perform finishing work including sanding, staining, and painting touch-ups Qualifications 3+ years of proven carpentry experience (restoration or construction industry preferred) Strong knowledge of carpentry techniques, materials, and tools Ability to work independently and as part of a team Physical stamina and ability to lift 50+ lbs Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Strong problem-solving and time management skills Preferred Experience (Not Required but a Plus) Water, fire, or storm damage restoration Flooring installation (hardwood, laminate, vinyl, tile) Knowledge of building codes and OSHA safety standards Light plumbing, electrical, or general handyman skills Familiarity with insurance restoration projects Benefits Competitive pay (based on experience) Steady year-round work Supportive team environment Apply Today - If you're a skilled carpenter who takes pride in your work, we'd love to hear from you!
