About KPS Finished Basements KPS Finished Basements is a remodeling company specializing in high-quality basement finishing and large interior renovation projects throughout Southeastern Pennsylvania. We are looking for a dependable, motivated carpenter to join our production team. This role may be a fit for either an experienced carpenter apprentice who is ready to keep growing, or a journeyman carpenter who can work more independently and help move projects forward with quality and consistency. Our team values clean jobsites, clear communication, strong craftsmanship, and doing the work the right way the first time. Position Overview The Experienced Carpenter Apprentice / Journeyman Carpenter will support day-to-day field production on basement finishing and renovation projects. This position will assist with framing, trim, doors, blocking, protection, punch list work, jobsite organization, and general carpentry tasks. The right candidate is reliable, teachable, detail-oriented, and takes pride in their work. Responsibilities Perform carpentry tasks including framing, blocking, trim, doors, hardware, and punch list work Assist with basement finishing and interior remodeling projects from rough construction through final details Maintain clean, organized, and safe jobsites Follow direction from the Field Foreman, Framing Foreman, and company leadership Read and follow project plans, scopes of work, and jobsite instructions Help protect client homes, finished surfaces, tools, and materials Track time accurately by job and task Communicate clearly with team members about progress, issues, and material needs Maintain a professional appearance and attitude on client jobsites Support KPS quality standards and company processes Ideal Candidate Has prior residential construction or remodeling experience Understands basic carpentry tools, layout, framing, and finish work Is dependable, punctual, and able to work full-time Takes pride in quality craftsmanship Is comfortable working in occupied homes Can follow direction and work as part of a team Has a clean, professional, and respectful jobsite presence Is motivated to grow into a stronger carpenter or future leadership role Has reliable transportation to jobsites in Southeastern PA Experience Level This position may be a fit for candidates with:

Experienced Apprentice Level:

3+ years of carpentry or remodeling experience Comfortable with basic tools and jobsite tasks Still developing independence but ready to grow

Journeyman Carpenter Level:
