About Us Cornerstone Building Solutions is a custom modular home builder located in Scranton, PA. We pride ourselves on craftsmanship, reliability, and creating exceptional modular structures for our clients. Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Carpenter to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have strong carpentry skills, be detail-oriented, and have the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. This position involves various carpentry tasks, from framing to finishing work on residential and light commercial projects. Key Responsibilities Reading blueprints, drawings, and sketches to understand project requirements Installing wood framing such as rafters, partitions, joists, and stud walls Installing cabinets, flooring, drywall, spackling, painting, and insulation Installing doors, millwork, and hardware Installing siding, shingles, fascia, and other exterior elements Building decks and porches Required Qualifications Proven experience as a carpenter Excellent understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation Proficiency with electrical and manual equipment (powered saws, drills, etc.) Ability to read and understand technical documents and drawings Strong commitment to safety guidelines and procedures Basic math skills for measurements and calculations Good physical condition and endurance Valid Driver's License (Required) High school diploma or equivalent OSHA 10 or OHSA 30 certification
