Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and skilled Carpenter or Carpenter Helper to join our dynamic construction team. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of residential and commercial projects, utilizing your expertise in carpentry, woodworking, and construction. Whether you're experienced in framing, trim work, or restoration, you'll play a vital part in transforming spaces with precision and craftsmanship. This paid position is perfect for individuals eager to develop their skills while contributing to high-quality building projects. Duties Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure accurate execution of projects. Measure, cut, assemble, and install wood and other building materials using hand tools and power tools for woodworking. Perform framing, siding, door hanging, flooring installation, and trim carpentry with attention to detail. Operate woodworking machines safely to shape and finish wood components for various projects. Handle heavy lifting and physically demanding tasks while maintaining safety protocols for power tool safety and construction site safety standards. Install fixtures, caulking, metal studs, siding, and other building components to meet project specifications. Drivers license is required Experience Prior construction experience is helpful but not necessary Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools for woodworking, wood construction materials, and woodworking machines is essential. Knowledge of framing techniques including metal stud framing and door hanging enhances your suitability for this role. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining focus on safety standards related to power tool use and site protocols.
