The Construction Laborer/Carpenter will perform tasks as assigned by Superintendent. Tasks may include but not be limited to demolition, carrying materials, setting up and breaking down workstations and scaffolding, carpentry, tool maintenance, punch list tasks, assisting trade contractors, receiving material deliveries, unloading trucks, and stacking materials, storing, and covering materials, Sweeping the jobsite, Weed control on sites and at shop, one year warranty repairs.

RESPONSIBILITIES

install interior doors, knobs, towel bars, toilet paper holders, cabinets, linear footage trim (base & casing), custom built-ins, mirrors, etc. Install and remove temporary doors, sidewalks and stairwell railings as directed. Sanding floors after drywall and in prep for flooring installation. Sweeping and wet mopping. Perform various task needed to De-ice, remove snow, and supply heat to homes under construction in winter. Responsible for being prompt and prepared for the workday. Communicate any conflicts in schedule with superior as soon as you are aware of them. Keep job sites and shop area clean. Make sure debris is contained in proper dumpsters. Do exterior pick-up and interior sweeping/tidying daily as needed or requested. Maintain any/all tools utilized on the job to complete tasks required. Report any company equipment that is defective or damaged to superior immediately. Safely operate Company equipment, may be needed to drive dump truck or other company vehicles and haul equipment to job site as needed. Report any problems, damage, hazardous conditions, and oversights to Construction Superintendent. Familiarize, comprehend, and comply with company construction techniques, specifications, and performance guidelines.
