We are looking for a skilled Carpenter who will be responsible for building, installing, and repairing structures and fixtures using various materials, including wood and steel, for remote project sites in Nome and Little Diomede, Alaska. What do we require? 3+ years' experience in finish carpentry. Additional 1+ years' experience in rough carpentry preferred. Extensive knowledge of power tools. Possession of basic hand tools. Willingness to travel and stay on-site in remote locations (Nome and Little Diomede) for the duration of the project. Willingness to work overtime when necessary to deliver the project on time. Capable of climbing ladders and carrying at least 60 pounds. Knowledge of lumber grades. Must have a Driver's License and good driving record.
