Job Description

Carpenter Apprentice/Labor Assistant Busy, established general contractor seeking a dependable Carpenter Apprentice/Labor Assistant to join our experienced carpentry team. We have residential projects booked through the winter and into next spring, with continued growth expected. Our work includes renovations, additions, build-outs, kitchens and bathrooms, and whole-home new construction.
Requirements:
Reliable truck and valid driver's license Basic hand tools Standard power tools, including a circular saw, jigsaw, cordless drill, and impact driver Ability to follow instructions from the on-site supervisor Dependable, punctual, and professional attitude Ability to pick up and transport materials and make supply runs as needed Positive work references Ability to work safely and maintain an organized jobsite
Demolition Responsibilities:
Applicants must be able to perform routine demolition properly and independently, including: Setting up dust containment Installing floor and finish protection Completing demolition in a safe and orderly manner Protecting all finishes, fixtures, and building elements that will remain Sorting, removing, and properly disposing of demolition debris Keeping the work area clean and organized Construction or remodeling experience is preferred. We are looking for someone who takes pride in their work, communicates well, follows directions, and wants to grow as part of a professional team.
