Job Description

First Call Remodeling is looking for an experienced Skilled Carpenter to work on residential remodeling and repair projects in the Summerville, Charleston, and surrounding areas. We are looking for someone with real hands-on remodeling experience who can perform a variety of carpentry and construction tasks with limited supervision. Skills & Experience We're Looking For Residential remodeling experience Rough and finish carpentry Framing and structural repairs Drywall installation and finishing Door and window installation Baseboards, crown molding and shoe molding Flooring installation Basic plumbing repair and fixture installation Bathroom and kitchen remodeling Basic plumbing repair and fixture installation Basic electrical knowledge Painting and finishing Ability to read measurements and follow project plans Ability to identify problems and recommend practical solutions Own basic hand and power tools Reliable transportation Dependable and professional Able to work safely and maintain a clean job site

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We need a hands-on carpenter who takes pride in their work and understands that remodeling projects often require multiple skills. You should be able to show up, assess the work, complete tasks properly, and work with minimal supervision. This is NOT a position for someone looking to learn basic carpentry on the job. We are looking for someone with proven residential construction and remodeling experience.

COMPENSATION

Compensation will be based on experience, skill level, and the type of work performed. Pay may be structured per job or per contract. If you are an experienced carpenter with multiple skills and take pride in quality workmanship, we want to hear from you.
