Job Overview We are seeking a motivated and dependable Helper to assist skilled carpenters and construction crews in a dynamic residential construction environment. This role offers an exciting opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various aspects of carpentry, woodworking, and construction projects. As a Helper, you will play a vital part in supporting the team to ensure projects are completed efficiently, safely, and to high standards. This paid position is ideal for individuals eager to develop their skills in construction while contributing to meaningful building projects. Responsibilities Operate hand tools, power tools for woodworking, and woodworking machines safely and effectively framing, drywall installation, rebar installation, and other carpentry tasks Handle heavy lifting of materials such as wood construction materials, siding, fixtures, and other building components Aid in the installation of doors, cabinets, fixtures, major framing, minor concrete and excavation work, painting, and trim carpentry work Maintain a clean and organized worksite by managing debris.
