Job Summary We are seeking a motivated and skilled Carpenter/Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. In this role, you will be responsible for performing a variety of carpentry and labor tasks on residential and commercial projects. Your expertise will help ensure that projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards of quality. Duties Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to accurately execute project specifications. Use hand tools and power tools for woodworking, framing, siding, drywall installation, trim carpentry, cabinet installation, door hanging, and fixture mounting. Prepare construction sites by measuring, cutting, assembling, and installing wood and other building materials. Perform heavy lifting tasks such as rebar installation, drywall handling, and material transport to support project progress. Assist with plastering, stucco application, caulking, mold remediation, and restoration work to ensure high-quality finishes. Operate woodworking machines safely and efficiently while adhering to power tool safety protocols. Support specialized tasks including metal stud framing, tile laying, rebar installation, insulation work, and remodeling projects. Maintain a clean and organized work environment by managing tools and materials effectively on-site. Collaborate with team members to interpret construction plans accurately and execute tasks according to specifications. Ensure compliance with safety standards at all times during construction activities. Experience Previous construction experience with a focus on residential or commercial carpentry preferred. Proficiency in blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings is essential. Hands-on experience with hand tools and power tools used in woodworking and framing is required. Knowledge of wood construction materials including siding, trim, drywall, cabinetry, and fixtures. Familiarity with construction site safety practices including power tool safety protocols. Experience in remodeling or restoration projects is a plus. Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining attention to detail throughout the project lifecycle. Strong teamwork skills combined with the ability to work independently when needed.
