We're looking for an experienced, dependable, and detail-oriented Carpenter / Remodeling Specialist to join our team! Our ideal candidate is a skilled tradesperson who enjoys variety, can work independently, takes pride in their craftsmanship, and understands that the finishing details make all the difference. Flooring installation experience is a HUGE plus! We're especially interested in candidates who can bring additional flooring knowledge and installation skills to our remodeling team. Key Responsibilities:

Finish Carpentry & Custom Installations Measure, cut, and install crown molding, baseboards, quarter round, shoe molding, door casings, and decorative trim. Install wainscoting, shiplap, board and batten, and custom accent walls. Build, modify, assemble, and install bathroom vanities and cabinetry. Install interior doors, shelving, and other custom woodwork. Perform precision finish carpentry, including miter cuts, coping, and seamless transitions. Framing, Drywall & General Remodeling Frame interior walls, partitions, soffits, and other structures within the employee's qualifications and assigned scope. Install, repair, tape, mud, sand, and finish drywall. Perform interior painting, caulking, patching, and finishing work. Complete demolition, preparation, and general residential remodeling tasks. Perform minor subfloor repairs and preparation. Assist with other remodeling tasks as assigned. Flooring Installation (A Major Plus!) Experience installing luxury vinyl plank (LVP), laminate, hardwood, or other flooring materials is highly desirable. Ability to perform flooring repairs, transitions, and finishing work. Knowledge of subfloor preparation, floor leveling, and proper installation techniques. Willingness to assist flooring installation teams when needed. Project Execution & Professionalism Review work orders, measurements, and project specifications. Complete assigned projects independently, efficiently, and to Get Floored's quality standards. Coordinate with flooring installers, tile installers, and other trades. Communicate project updates, material needs, and unforeseen conditions to management. Maintain clean, organized, and safe job sites. Protect customers' homes and belongings throughout the remodeling process. Properly maintain company-provided tools, equipment, and vehicles. Provide professional, respectful customer service. Required Qualifications Proven professional carpentry and residential remodeling experience. Strong skills in finish carpentry, trim installation, framing, and drywall finishing. Ability to accurately measure, cut, level, square, and install materials. Proficiency with carpentry hand tools and power tools. Ability to troubleshoot challenges and work independently. Strong attention to detail and pride in craftsmanship. Dependability, punctuality, and effective communication. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record for company vehicle use. Ability to perform the physical duties of residential remodeling, with or without reasonable accommodation. Flexibility to work schedules that may vary based on project needs. Highly Preferred Skills Flooring installation experience, especially LVP, laminate, and hardwood. Bathroom remodeling and vanity installation. Custom cabinetry and decorative trim work. Interior painting and drywall finishing. Subfloor preparation and repair. Experience completing multiple phases of residential renovation projects.
