Overview We are seeking a motivated and skilled Carpenter/Laborer to join our dynamic construction team. Responsibilities Read and interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to ensure accurate project execution Operate hand tools and power tools for woodworking, framing, drywall installation, trim work, and fixture mounting Perform heavy lifting and physical tasks required for construction site activities, including rebar installation, stucco application, siding, and tile laying Install doors, cabinets, moldings, and other fixtures with precision and attention to detail Assist with demolition, restoration work, mold remediation, and remodeling projects as needed Follow safety protocols related to power tool operation, power tool safety standards, and general site safety procedures Support the setup and use of woodworking machines for precise cuts and finishes Skills Proficiency in construction estimating and understanding construction plans Strong ability to read blueprints and interpret technical drawings accurately Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools for woodworking, drywall tools, tile cutters, and other carpentry equipment Knowledge of wood construction materials such as framing lumber, plywood, siding materials, and trim components Experience with residential carpentry including door hanging, cabinet installation, fixture mounting, and drywall finishing Familiarity with metal stud framing and light structural repairs within the restoration industry or similar fields Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while maintaining proper posture and technique Experience with caulking, stucco application, plastering, rebar installation, mold remediation or related tasks is a plus Demonstrated construction site experience with adherence to safety standards such as power tool safety protocols Basic understanding of remodeling processes including tile laying and woodwork refinishing Handyman experience or general assembly skills are advantageous Join our team if you're passionate about building quality structures while enjoying a supportive environment that encourages growth.
