Job Description
Blood Assurance is seeking a Finish Carpenter , where your craftsmanship and attention to detail will help shape high-quality, woodwork in our Chattanooga Mobile Shop. In this role, you will create cabinets and work with laminate that enhance the aesthetic appeal and functionality of our projects. Collaborate closely with a talented team in a dynamic environment, contributing to projects that prioritize excellence and innovation. Finish Carpenter Job Responsibilities Interpret and analyze blueprints, sketches, and building plans to determine material requirements and accurate measurements. Install, repair, and maintain wooden structures and fixtures. Measure, cut, shape, and assemble wood and other materials with precision using hand and power tools like table saws, edge banders and routers Ensure all work meets building codes, safety standards, and project specifications. Collaborate with architects, designers, and other construction professionals to achieve desired results. Perform finish work, including sanding, staining, varnishing, and sealing to enhance the appearance and durability of wood surfaces. Inspect and select the best materials for projects, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness. Maintain tools and equipment in safe and efficient working conditions. Troubleshoot and resolve any issues or discrepancies during the building and finishing process. Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all waste materials are properly disposed of. Finish Carpenter Job Requirements CNC Machine Experience preferred Proven experience as a Finish Carpenter or in a similar role. High proficiency in using woodworking tools and machines. Strong understanding of carpentry techniques and methods of installation and construction. Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints. Excellent knowledge of wood properties and other carpentry materials. Strong attention to detail and precision in work. Ability to measure, cut, shape, and install wooden and other structures with high accuracy. Good physical condition and stamina; capable of lifting heavy materials and working in various positions. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team. Valid driver's license and reliable transportation. Familiarity with safety guidelines and regulations in carpentry and construction. High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in carpentry is a plus.
