Job Description
Carpenter/Laborer Job Summary We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Carpenter/Laborer to join our team. This role involves performing residential carpentry projects with a focus on frame carpentry, utilizing power tools for woodworking, and supporting various construction tasks. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in residential settings, demonstrate strong work ethic, and prioritize safety and quality in all aspects of their work. Duties Operate power tools for woodworking to cut, shape, and assemble materials accurately. Assist with residential carpentry projects, including framing, installing fixtures, and finishing work. Perform frame carpentry tasks such as building and erecting structural frameworks according to specifications. Support the construction team in preparing job sites, measuring, and ensuring materials are ready for use. Follow safety protocols to maintain a safe working environment at all times. Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently and to high standards. Maintain cleanliness of the work area and properly care for tools and equipment. Skills Experience with residential carpentry and frame carpentry. Proficiency in using power tools for woodworking. Ability to read and interpret blueprints or technical drawings is a plus. Strong attention to detail and craftsmanship. Good physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy materials safely. Excellent teamwork and communication skills. Knowledge of safety procedures related to construction work.
