Full-Time | Onsite At Sebring Design Build, we transform homes through thoughtful design, exceptional craftsmanship, and a seamless client experience. Based in Franklin, Tennessee, we specialize in kitchens, bathrooms, additions, and whole-home remodels for homeowners who value quality and attention to detail. We're looking for an experienced Lead Carpenter who can confidently lead projects in the field, coordinate daily jobsite activities, and deliver outstanding workmanship from start to finish. What You'll Do As our Lead Carpenter, you'll be responsible for keeping projects moving safely, efficiently, and to the highest level of craftsmanship.
Your responsibilities include:
Lead day-to-day operations on residential remodeling projects Perform and oversee framing, finish carpentry, cabinetry installation, and general carpentry work Read and execute construction plans accurately Coordinate daily activities with subcontractors and trade partners Plan work ahead to keep projects on schedule Identify and resolve field challenges before they impact quality or timelines Ensure framing, substrates, and installations are prepared correctly for downstream trades Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite Communicate professionally with homeowners, vendors, and the project team Protect finished work and uphold Sebring's quality standards throughout every phase of construction What We're Looking For 5+ years of residential remodeling or construction experience Previous experience as a Lead Carpenter, Foreman, or similar field leadership role preferred Strong finish carpentry and general carpentry skills Experience installing cabinetry, trim, doors, and other finish elements Ability to read blueprints and construction drawings Strong problem-solving and organizational skills Ability to lead by example and work well with subcontractors Professional communication and customer service skills Valid driver's license and reliable transportation What Success Looks Like In this role, you will: Deliver projects that meet Sebring's high standards for craftsmanship and quality Keep work progressing efficiently through proactive planning and coordination Minimize rework by identifying issues early and maintaining attention to detail Build positive relationships with homeowners through clear, professional communication Maintain clean, organized jobsites that reflect pride in your work Become a trusted field leader who consistently supports successful project outcomes Why Join Sebring Design Build?
