Join Our Team at Walker Chevrolet Walker Chevrolet is seeking a motivated, customer-focused Parts Department Consultant to join our growing team. If you have a passion for the automotive industry, enjoy helping customers and technicians find the right parts, and thrive in a fast-paced environment, we'd like to meet you. The Parts Department Consultant serves as a key resource for customers, service technicians, and wholesale accounts by identifying, sourcing, and selling Chevrolet and GM parts and accessories. This role requires excellent customer service, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work efficiently while maintaining accuracy. Assist retail, wholesale, and internal service customers with parts inquiries and purchases. Identify and source Chevrolet, GM, and aftermarket parts using manufacturer catalogs and software. Process parts orders, invoices, returns, and warranty claims. Maintain accurate inventory records and assist with stock management. Coordinate with service advisors and technicians to ensure timely parts availability. Receive, stock, and organize incoming inventory shipments. Promote Chevrolet accessories and related products. Maintain a clean, organized, and professional parts department. Qualifications Automotive parts experience preferred Knowledge of Chevrolet, GM, or dealership operations is a plus. Strong customer service and communication skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Basic computer proficiency and ability to learn dealership software systems. Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills. Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical inventory tasks as needed. Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record.
