Be the First to Apply Job Description Job Summary Employees in this classification work under general supervision and perform a variety of skilled tasks related to building maintenance and construction. Duties include erecting forms, cutting and assembling materials, and performing other related work as required. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Ability to perceive small differences in objects and spatial relationships. Ability to attend to visual details. Ability to make precise arm and hand movements where strength and speed are minimized. Ability to plan and organize work effectively. Ability to read and interpret drawings and blueprints. Ability to use power tools commonly used in the carpentry trade. Ability to perform mathematical computations associated with construction and renovation tasks. Ability to work and communicate effectively with others. Ability to make precise manipulations using simple hand tools. Required Qualifications High school diploma or GED with five years of experience in finish carpentry, or Completion of a carpenter apprenticeship program or vocational school, or An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.
