Overview We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Master Carpenter to lead and execute complex carpentry projects across residential and restoration settings. Responsibilities Interpret construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to guide project execution accurately. Lead carpentry tasks including framing, drywall installation, trim work, siding, flooring, tile laying, and fixture installation. Operate hand tools, power tools for woodworking, woodworking machines, and heavy machinery safely and efficiently. Manage construction estimating processes to ensure accurate material procurement and project budgeting. Conduct rebar installation, masonry work, plastering, stucco application, restoration industry tasks as needed. Oversee site safety protocols including power tool safety practices and proper handling of wood construction materials. Collaborate with project managers to interpret construction plans and ensure compliance with building codes and standards. Perform remodeling projects with precision craftsmanship while maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Install doors, windows, siding panels, fixtures, metal stud framing, ceiling and wall design, drywall systems, and other structural components. Engage in fabrication work for custom woodwork or metal components as required for specific projects. Assist in heavy lifting tasks and ensure proper use of all tools to prevent accidents or damage. Experience Proven construction experience with a focus on residential carpentry or restoration projects. Demonstrated expertise in blueprint reading and interpreting technical drawings accurately. Hands-on experience with hand tools, power tools for woodworking, woodworking machines, and heavy equipment operation. Knowledge of construction estimating processes to assist in project planning and resource allocation. Familiarity with various building materials including wood construction materials, siding materials, drywall systems, tile products, and metal studs. plastering, stucco application, rebar installation, masonry work, flooring installation (including tile), caulking techniques, fixture hanging or installation. Strong understanding of construction site safety protocols including power tool safety practices. Ability to lift heavy materials safely while maintaining proper technique to prevent injury. Previous experience working on remodeling projects or within the restoration industry is highly desirable.
