The ideal candidate will possess a diverse range of construction skills and experience, enabling them to effectively manage renovation projects from start to finish. This role requires a strong understanding of various construction techniques, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with other tradespeople. The Renovator will be responsible for transforming spaces while ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to safety standards. The job location is Greenville, Missisippi. Responsibilities Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to understand project specifications. Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various tasks. Perform carpentry work, including framing, cabinet installation, and flooring installation. Execute concrete forming and finishing tasks as needed for structural integrity. Conduct plumbing installations and repairs in accordance with building codes. Engage in masonry work for walls, pathways, or decorative elements. Carry out electrical tasks where applicable, ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Apply caulking and construction painting techniques to enhance aesthetics and durability. Operate heavy equipment when necessary for specific renovation projects. Estimate material requirements and project timelines accurately to ensure efficient workflow. Collaborate with other tradespeople to achieve project goals within deadlines. Requirements Proven experience in construction or renovation roles with a strong portfolio of completed projects. Proficiency in blueprint reading and understanding of construction schematics. Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, masonry techniques, welding, and heavy equipment operation. Knowledge of concrete forming, finishing, flooring installation, tile laying, plumbing, carpentry, restoration practices, and electrical experience is highly desirable. Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship. Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment. Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing project requirements. Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with clients and team members.
