Job Description
Job Summary Join our dynamic construction team as a Construction Carpenter/Operator/Laborer, where you'll play a vital role in building and maintaining infrastructure projects. This energetic position offers the opportunity to work with a variety of heavy equipment and construction tools, ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards. Your mechanical knowledge and hands-on skills will drive the success of each project, making a tangible impact on community development and infrastructure growth. Pay depends on experience. Duties Operate heavy machinery including excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, water trucks, dump trucks, and Caterpillar equipment to execute construction tasks efficiently. Assist with carpentry tasks on-site, including framing, formwork, and structural support. Perform site preparation activities such as grading, trenching, and excavation to ensure a solid foundation for construction. Conduct routine maintenance and safety checks on all equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety compliance. Follow detailed instructions from supervisors to complete assigned tasks accurately while adhering to safety protocols. Collaborate with team members to coordinate the movement of materials and equipment across the site for seamless workflow. Requirements Proven experience in construction site operations with familiarity in heavy equipment such as excavators, dozers, loaders, backhoes, graders, water trucks, dump trucks, and Caterpillar machinery. Valid driver's license (Preferred) Strong understanding of construction safety standards and procedures; ability to work safely in active job sites. Excellent teamwork skills with a proactive attitude toward learning new skills such as horizontal drilling or grader operation. Physical stamina to perform demanding labor tasks in various weather conditions; capable of standing for extended periods and lifting heavy materials.
