In this role, you will be responsible for executing high-quality concrete finishing and carpentry work on a variety of construction projects, including commercial, residential, and renovation sites. Your expertise will ensure that concrete surfaces are smooth, durable, and visually appealing, adhering to project specifications and safety standards. Duties Prepare work sites by setting up formwork, rebar installation, and ensuring proper placement of concrete according to specifications. Operate concrete mixers, pumps, power tools, hand tools, and cutting equipment safely and efficiently to pour, finish, and cure concrete surfaces. Perform concrete finishing tasks such as smoothing, troweling, edging, and texturing to achieve desired surface quality. Install various types of hardscape features including sidewalks, patios, retaining walls, and other decorative or functional elements. Ensure compliance with construction workplace safety regulations by following safety protocols during all phases of work. Maintain a clean and organized work environment while managing responsibilities safely. Qualifications Proven experience working on construction projects with a strong focus on concrete finishing and carpentry. Mechanical knowledge related to operating power tools, concrete mixers, pumps, saws, and other construction equipment. Skilled in concrete forming techniques including formwork construction and concrete cutting. Knowledge of rebar installation practices for reinforced concrete structures. Strong understanding of construction workplace safety regulations and adherence to safety protocols at all times.
