  • 18/hour, depending on experience Supernal Painting is hiring an Entry-Level Cabinet Finisher / Carpenter to join our growing team.
This position is designed for someone who may not already have professional finishing, cabinetry, or carpentry experience but is reliable, hardworking, detail-oriented, and willing to learn . We are willing to teach the right person our processes, but we are specifically looking for someone who wants to build a long-term career with our company . Experienced applicants are also encouraged to apply. Our work includes high-end cabinet refinishing, custom cabinetry, built-ins, interior painting, woodworking, drywall repair, installation, and specialty finishes throughout the Nashville area. Responsibilities Depending on the project, responsibilities may include: Preparing cabinets, doors, drawer fronts, trim, and woodwork for finishing Sanding, cleaning, masking, filling, and surface preparation Assisting with spraying, priming, and finishing cabinets Cabinet and built-in installation Basic woodworking and carpentry Installing trim, crown molding, baseboards, panels, and related materials Interior painting and preparation Drywall patching and repair Loading, unloading, and transporting tools and materials Keeping job sites and the finishing shop clean and organized Assisting experienced finishers and installers Learning professional spray-finishing and cabinetry techniques Following job-site protection and cleanliness standards This is a hands-on position. You should expect to work both in our finishing shop and inside clients' homes and businesses . No Professional Experience Required Professional finishing or cabinetry experience is not required for this position. Physical & Job Requirements Applicants should be comfortable: Working with their hands Standing for extended periods Lifting and carrying cabinets, tools, and materials Using sanders, drills, saws, hand tools, and other construction equipment Working around dust, paint, coatings, and finishing products while using appropriate PPE Traveling to job sites throughout the Nashville area Working in both residential job sites and a shop environment Learning new processes and improving speed and quality over time A valid driver's license and reliable transportation are strongly preferred. Pay Starting pay is generally $17

Our Work Supernal Painting specializes in premium interior finishing work, including: Cabinet refinishing Cabinet finishing Custom cabinetry Built-ins Cabinet installation Interior painting Wood finishing Specialty finishes Trim and carpentry Drywall repair Many of our projects are completed in high-end residential homes, so professionalism, cleanliness, communication, and attention to detail are extremely important . Schedule Full-time opportunities are available. Most work is performed during normal weekday working hours, although schedules may vary depending on project needs. Occasional longer days or schedule adjustments may be necessary to complete projects.
