Job Title:
Carpenter / Laborer (Remodeling & General Construction) Job Summary We are seeking a dependable and skilled Carpenter/Laborer to assist with residential and commercial remodeling projects, including apartments, multi-unit buildings, and general construction work. This role involves a mix of carpentry, demolition, installation, and general labor tasks. Candidates with HVAC knowledge are strongly preferred. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on a variety of projects, from framing and trim carpentry to restoration and remodeling. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for performing hands-on carpentry tasks, assisting with construction projects, and ensuring quality craftsmanship across diverse job sites. This position is ideal for individuals eager to develop their skills in a fast-paced environment while contributing to high-quality building and renovation work. Responsibilities Measure, cut, assemble, and install framing, trim, siding, flooring, windows, doors, general repairs, cabinetry, doors, and fixtures using hand tools and power tools Read blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to accurately execute project specifications Assist with remodeling projects in apartments and commercial buildings Assist with concrete forming, masonry work, roofing, drywall installation (including plastering and stucco), and water damage restoration tasks Support fabrication and assembly of custom components in shop or on-site as needed Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to safety protocols and properly handling tools and material Complete demolition, site prep, and cleanup as needed Work alongside contractors, maintenance teams, and supervisors to complete projects on time Document work orders and updates Requirements Proven experience in construction or related fields such as carpentry, remodeling, or restoration industry experience Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and basic schematics reading Knowledge of various construction disciplines including framing carpentry, trim carpentry, metal stud framing, roofing, siding, flooring installation, tile laying, plumbing, HVAC, electrical work, and masonry Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently on active job sites Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills Qualifications 1+ years of carpentry, construction, or remodeling experience preferred Basic knowledge of tools, materials, and construction methods Ability to lift 50+ lbs and perform physically demanding work Reliable transportation and clean driving record, strong work ethic HVAC knowledge is a plus Experience with property management software is a plus Ability to work independently and as part of a team Preferred Skills Experience in apartment or multi-unit renovations Basic electrical or plumbing knowledge Attention to detail and quality workmanship Strong problem-solving skills Work Environment Indoor and outdoor construction settings Exposure to dust, noise, and varying weather conditions Fast-paced, team-oriented environment Compensation Pay based on experience Opportunities for overtime and advancement Everything we do as a company is centered around our Core Values!
