Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Concrete Foreman, Concrete Carpenter/Finisher, and Heavy Equipment Operator to lead and execute high-quality concrete construction projects. This multifaceted role offers the opportunity to oversee daily operations on-site, manage teams, and ensure safety and compliance with all construction regulations. The ideal candidate will bring a strong background in commercial construction, excellent management skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving. Duties Lead and supervise concrete crews, including carpenters, finishers, and equipment operators, ensuring work is completed efficiently and to project specifications Must have experience with all highway work Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, technical drawings, and construction plans to guide team activities Operate heavy equipment safely and effectively, including excavators, loaders, bulldozers, and other machinery necessary for site preparation and concrete placement Enforce OSHA standards and federal construction safety regulations to maintain a safe work environment for all team members Review construction drawings for accuracy, manage project scope changes, and communicate effectively with management regarding progress and issues Conduct quality control inspections throughout the project lifecycle to ensure adherence to specifications and safety standards Qualifications Proven experience managing concrete construction projects with supervisory responsibilities in commercial or large-scale projects Strong knowledge of construction management software such as ProCore, Bluebeam, Primavera P6, Primavera (P3), HeavyBid, and other relevant tools Skilled in blueprint reading, interpreting technical schematics, and reviewing construction drawings Demonstrated ability to manage teams effectively on-site while maintaining safety compliance under OSHA regulations Experience operating heavy equipment safely with proper certification; familiarity with Ohmmeter usage is a plus Excellent communication skills for managing crews, coordinating schedules, and liaising with project managers Knowledge of construction regulations including federal safety standards and local building codes Ability to handle multiple priorities simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail in budgeting, scheduling, and quality control Join our team if you're passionate about leading impactful concrete projects with energy and precision.
