Carpenter Laborer

We are looking for a capable and skilled carpenter to join our team. You'll take direction from the project manager to help construct and maintain strong and long-lasting buildings and products. You are great at reading blueprints and have excellent hand dexterity, with a can-do attitude. Compensation:

$18 - $25 hourly

Responsibilities:

Chisel and assemble kitchen cabinets, drywall, siding, and furniture Confirm flooring, roofing, and drywall are level and compatible Read blueprints and sketches to fully grasp the requirements Measure, cut, shape, and smooth carpentry materials Conduct inspections, maintenance, and fix structures Perform framing and structural repairs Repair wood rot and damaged decking Install windows, doors, siding, trim, and exterior components Assist with roofing systems as needed Ensure all work is level, plumb, square, and built to code Maintain clean and professional job sites Communicate clearly with project managers

Qualifications:

Completed carpentry apprenticeship required Strong measuring and math skills required Driver's license required High school diploma or GED preferred Deep knowledge of carpentry materials, tools, and techniques 3+ years of carpentry experience required Strong understanding of residential construction Experience with exterior systems preferred Ability to read scopes of work and follow job specifications Reliable transportation required Valid driver's license required Must have own basic tools Ability to work outdoors in Texas heat Strong work ethic and accountability We are not looking for shortcuts.
