Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking skilled Civil Carpenter Journeyman to work at the Valero Corpus Christi Refinery with 4 years of work experience. The job is 4/10's for 4 months, requires a TWIC card, Disa Drug Test and a background check. This job does not pay per-diem. Responsibilities Read and interpret detailed construction plans, blueprints, and technical drawings to guide project execution Construct formwork and scaffolding for concrete pours, ensuring precision and stability according to specifications Install rebar reinforcement in concrete structures to provide strength and durability Operate power tools, hand tools, heavy equipment, and concrete mixers safely and efficiently on-site Perform concrete pouring, finishing, cutting, and surface treatment to achieve smooth finishes aligned with project standards Ensure compliance with construction workplace safety regulations by adhering to all safety protocols and wearing proper PPE at all times Collaborate with team members to interpret technical specifications and ensure accurate implementation of construction plans
