The Opportunity We are looking for an experienced Lead Carpenter with a strong background in finish carpentry who takes pride in their craft, solves problems creatively, and thrives in a fast paced environment. This role is ideal for a skilled carpenter who is ready to take ownership of high end projects, lead a crew, and set the standard for quality in the field. What You'll Do Lead and manage finish carpenters on active job sites Oversee day to day field operations and keep projects organized and moving efficiently Coordinate schedules, materials, employees, and project needs Maintain accountability for project timelines, budgets, craftsmanship, and client satisfaction Work directly with clients, designers, and general contractors to understand project goals and expectations Review plans, blueprints, elevations, and technical drawings Perform and oversee high end finish carpentry and architectural millwork installations Identify and solve field conditions before they become larger problems Conduct quality control throughout each project Train and develop team members while maintaining our standards for craftsmanship What You Bring 10+ years of finish carpentry and millwork experience Strong experience with high end residential projects 5+ years of experience leading and managing a crew on active job sites Strong knowledge of finish carpentry, architectural millwork, trim, cabinetry installation, paneling, doors, moldings, and custom interior details Excellent layout, measuring, fitting, and problem solving skills Sharp eye for detail and pride in your work Ability to make decisions and keep projects moving without constant direction Strong communication skills and a client focused mindset Dependable, self motivated, and aligned with our core values Why Join Innovations Carpentry?
