Responsible for performing the full range of skilled journey-level rough and finish skilled carpentry and related work. Work may include renovation, modification, or new construction. Plans and completes projects from initial layout to final assemble involving construction, alterations, repairs, renovation and modifications. Constructs, erects, installs, and repairs structures and fixtures of wood, plywood, and wallboard, using carpenter's hand tools, and power tools. and conforming to local building codes. Projects may include renovation, repair, alteration, fabrication of walls, doors, windows and frames, ceilings, roofs, floors, stairs, shelving, tables, benches, cabinets, counters, countertops, and/or facings, signs, scaffolds, and many different building components of wood, wood substitutes, and metal, plastic, plastic laminates, sheet rock, paneling, etc. Performs preventive maintenance as defined for area of responsibility (e.g; interior/exterior buildings, ceilings, floors, and roofs, adhering to preventive maintenance schedule). Performs other related duties as assigned. Be able to communicate clearly/concisely both orally and in writing; be bondable and eligible for coverage under Authority fleet auto insurance. Must have a valid Texas Driver's License.
