Newbold Stone Architectural Concrete | Austin, TX | Full-time Newbold Stone is hiring a carpenter to build forms for custom precast concrete. We make countertops, sinks, stair treads, benches, and other architectural pieces. This is a hands-on shop role that also includes mixing and casting concrete. Responsibilities Read architectural and shop drawings to build accurate formwork. Cut and assemble wood, melamine, and other form materials. Build edges, openings, sink knockouts, and custom shapes. Check dimensions and prepare forms for casting. Mix, place, and finish concrete; assist with demolding and cleanup. Installation as necessary Qualifications Carpentry experience, especially finish carpentry, cabinetry, millwork, or concrete formwork. Ability to read drawings and work accurately from dimensions. Experience with table saws, routers, and common shop tools. Willingness to take part in all stages of precast production. Precast experience is helpful but not required.
